This Privacy Policy describes how the AutoRefund Chrome extension (“Extension”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you install and use the Extension. AutoRefund is a business productivity tool that helps Amazon sellers automatically collect disbursement / refund settlement data from Amazon Seller Central and upload it to the NBI system operated by Qingkula.
This policy is intended to meet Chrome Web Store disclosure requirements. By installing or using AutoRefund, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension.
1. Who we are
AutoRefund is developed for the NBI business intelligence platform.
Backend services are provided at https://nbi-gw.qingkula.com (Qingkula / NBI).
The Extension is designed for authorized employees of seller organizations that already use NBI. It is not intended for general consumer use.
2. Single purpose
The single purpose of AutoRefund is to automate the collection of Amazon Seller Central payout / refund settlement information (and related shop identifiers) and to send that business data to the user’s NBI account, so finance and operations teams can complete daily reconciliation.
3. Information we collect
We collect only data needed to operate the Extension’s stated purpose.
3.1 Business data from Amazon Seller Central
When you are already logged into Amazon Seller Central and start a task, the Extension may read and transmit:
- Amazon Merchant / Seller ID (merchant token)
- Shop / store name and marketplace / country site names
- Payout / refund settlement data, including settlement period, original amount, converted amount, currency, and account type (for example, standard orders)
- Selected site list and last successful collection time
- Advertising / performance report download URLs and related shop identifiers, if that module is used
- Page screenshots of refund / settlement pages, when screenshot upload is enabled, for verification in NBI
3.2 Local technical and task state
The Extension stores operational state in Chrome local storage and, in some cases,
the page’s localStorage, including:
- Task progress, pause / start status, bound tab ID, and selected sites
- Temporary Alibaba Cloud OSS credentials used to upload files
- NBI session token (
x-auth-token), if present
3.3 Data we do not collect
- We do not send your Amazon login email or password to our servers. On the Amazon sign-in page, the Extension only clicks “Continue” / “Sign in” if those fields are already filled locally (for example by the browser or an authorized login helper). Credentials are not harvested or uploaded.
- We do not collect end-customer names, addresses, payment card numbers, or personal communications.
- We do not collect your browsing history on websites unrelated to Amazon Seller Central / Advertising Console.
- We do not sell user data, and we do not use collected data for advertising or unrelated profiling.
4. How we use information
- Identify the correct shop and marketplace in NBI
- Record payout / refund amounts and settlement cycles for finance reconciliation
- Upload supporting files or screenshots to object storage associated with NBI
- Resume or skip tasks, keep the background worker alive during long runs, and show last-run status in the popup
- Diagnose failures so an administrator can help you
We use the data solely to provide the Extension’s functionality to your organization.
5. Chrome permissions
| Permission | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
storage |
Save task state, selected sites, seller IDs, and temporary tokens on your device. |
tabs / activeTab |
Bind automation to the Amazon Seller Central tab you are using and avoid acting on unrelated tabs. |
alarms |
Keep the Manifest V3 service worker alive during multi-step RPA tasks. |
Host access to *.amazon.* |
Read settlement pages and perform the automated collection flow on Amazon Seller Central. |
Content scripts may be declared with a broad match pattern for technical reasons. In practice, the Extension only runs its collection logic on Amazon Seller Central (including Japan Seller Central) pages. It does not scrape unrelated websites.
6. Sharing and third-party services
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Data is shared only as needed to provide the service:
- NBI / Qingkula servers —
https://nbi-gw.qingkula.comreceives shop codes, refund settlement payloads, and related business records. - Alibaba Cloud OSS (region
oss-cn-shenzhen, bucket used by NBI production resources) — used to store uploaded files / screenshots when that feature is active. Temporary STS credentials are requested from NBI and stored locally for a short time. - Amazon — the Extension interacts with Amazon Seller Central in your existing logged-in browser session. Amazon’s own privacy policy applies to data Amazon holds.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising SDKs, or other unrelated trackers in this Extension.
7. Storage, security, and retention
- Local Chrome storage can be cleared by removing the Extension or clearing extension storage in Chrome.
- Business data sent to NBI is stored on Qingkula systems according to your organization’s NBI account and internal retention rules.
- OSS files are stored on Alibaba Cloud infrastructure in China (Shenzhen region).
- We use HTTPS for API communication. Temporary OSS tokens are short-lived.
- No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please keep your Amazon and NBI accounts protected (including 2FA).
8. Your choices and rights
- You may pause or reset tasks from the Extension popup at any time.
- You may uninstall AutoRefund to stop all collection.
- Authorized NBI administrators in your organization can request access, correction, or deletion of business records stored in NBI, subject to applicable law and company policy.
- If you are in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions and believe personal data is processed, you may also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection. Contact us as described below.
9. Children
AutoRefund is a workplace tool for adult business users. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
10. International transfers
If you access Amazon marketplaces or NBI from outside the storage region, data may be transferred to servers in China (NBI / Alibaba Cloud Shenzhen) as needed to provide the service. Your organization is responsible for ensuring that such transfers are permitted for its business use.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Extension’s data practices or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
